Teaching Bio

Suzanne completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Theatre at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia Canada.  Her love of people led her to a career in social work, but it was her love of singing that pulled her away from her island home to a life of road tours across the American Midwest -- her first true musical journey where she thought she was a little closer to Heaven -- getting paid to sing. Thousands of miles and hundreds of performances gave her the chance to hone her talents.
Suzanne studied guitar through the Royal Conservatory of Music and Voice with world class vocal coach Mark Baxter, author of the New York Times Bestselling Book “The Rock and Roll Singers Survival Guide”

Suzanne began teaching early childhood family music in 2002 getting certified in Music Together®. Within a year she started her own Music Together® Center in Milton, Massachusetts. Years later she decided to become an Elementary music teacher managing many students, classes, choirs, recitals and concerts.  Suzanne's expertise in early childhood music has led her to create and lead many specialized music curriculum programs for preschools, private groups, elementary schools, glee clubs and conservatories.
